雙面小魚的心聲

今天下午和一群朋友聊天，其中一位朋友講到他最近為了擴大業務，花了整整兩個小時構思出來的新配套措施，但我們其他人聽他解說一遍之後，都認為不是很理想，於是一直以各種角度來對他曉以大義，可是這位朋友似乎一直執著於某一細節的得失，而忽略了最重要的整體方向，於是我想到一句諺語：見樹不見林，英文的說法就是"cannot see the wood for the trees" 或 "cannot see the forest for the trees"，一個心思鎮密的人，很容易因為過於注重細節而看不清應該追尋的目標方向，甚至在計畫的過程中因小失大。

英文例句：

• I don't think we can see the wood for the trees at this stage, so let's get an outsider to take a look at the project and give us a progress report.
  
• Marcus is so focused on product details that he can't see the wood for the trees when it comes to the overall needs of the company.

       我想誰都不願意因小失大，但有時因為個性和人格特質的關係，導致一直無法看清自己的盲點，任誰來勸說都很難聽得進去，所以又回到那句老話：性格決定命運啦～（看到這篇文章的朋友，還是請你再好好思考那最最重要的大方向吧）
